Owner Comments on the Satellite Case Review

My Satellite is truly a holder of all things. It holds my Jornada 680 in the pouch that's sold seperately, on top of which is perched my Nokia 5110. My Rio mp3 player sits in the front pouch and the clip and battery sit in one of the mesh holders inside the case. I know they're ment for cf cards, but the mesh stretches and holds the clip and battery nicely. In the other pouch sits either my cf card or smart media card in its jewel case. Of course it also acts as a wallet, holding cards, money, receipts, passports, and anything else I might need. I seldom need to use my purse anymore, as this case looks as formal or informal as I want it to. And no, I think that a man would have to be very insecure to feel threated by using what essentially is a small breifcase.

I just wish there was a good place to put change. It can take a long time to fish coins out of the back zip, and they fall out of the front pouch if you open the case up. But then again what can you do? Where would you possiblly put a change purse?

I just wish someone would make a case in small backpack form. But I'm probably the only one who wants one of those. Awesome case! I'm currently typing on the Jornada now and using the case as a table in my lap.

Dear Julie,
At the risk of sounding a little chauvinistic don't you think the case is a little 'girly' to use an English euphemism? Us blokes like our cases to look a lot less like a handbag! But we've ruled the comp world for too long maybe its the turn of the women now.

Great article- first time I've visited the site. I'll definitely come back again.

(Note: I don't think the case looks feminine or masculine. It's sort of unisex...js)

I put in my order last summer, and after receiving one when they first
began shipping, I'd just like to say how pleased I am. I have two other
PDA Concepts cases for the Newton 2000, and now with this Satellite Case
replacing one of them, I'm in love!
This case has become my wallet, Newton 2100 case and all around
companion.  It's one of those products that once you have one, you
wonder how you got along without it before.
It looks good with jeans or a suit, and the leather is top shelf.  I
enjoy having my Newton with me at all times and this case provides that
ability in spades.  I'm not sure how Bryson got all that room into a
case that is smaller than the first, but I, for one, am not going to
complain.  I could go on and on, but won't.  In any case, if you like to
have your PDA with you at all times, this one is really a serious
consideration.  Your mileage may vary.

Thanks again, Bryson !
